Autumn in New Hampshire... ♥

Hey everyone! Well after working graveyards the last few weeks I'm very happy to say I'm back on days! Working nights was BRUTAL for me. Something about staying up all night is just NOT natural!!! :-P Then trying to get back on a day schedule on my days off was rough as well. As soon as I started to adjust it was right back to nights again! My body was confused. I didn't know when to eat, sleep or poo. Better yet I didn't know whether to scratch my watch or wind my butt! (Steal Magnolias reference gentlemen ;) Anywho, I was EXHAUSTED! My body's def making up for it now. I feel like an old lady... can barely stay up passed 9 o'clock!! But the upside is I'm wide awake by 5 which is SO weird for me as I've never been a morning person! Who knows? Maybe this will help mold me into one...hope so. I have to say... I kinda like it!

So Fall time is here and I have been floating on cloud 9!!! This is it... the real deal. The moment I've been waiting for. SEASONS! I'm so giddy just like a little kid on Christmas morning. :) Perfect timing too as I was starting to get extremely homesick. Not homesick from Cali so much but homesick from my family. I actually had a breakdown one of my last nights on graveyard! :-/ Oh my, was it embarressing telling my new boss I was having a meltdown because I miss my nephew?! Geeze Shawna!!! I think it was a mixture of that + delirium... well at least that's my story and hey, I'm sticking to it! Luckily he was very sweet about it all...completely understanding! I do miss my family and friends. We both do! Only to be expected right?!?! It's just because we love you all so much! I know I'll have my moments but seeing this def made me realize why I am here...
The beauty of FALL!!!

There's no other place I'd rather be than right here with you!

Looks like something out of a fairytale... well my fairytale anyhow!

 Pumpkins! :))

We took a trip up to Castle in the Clouds yesterday which is just over an hr North of us in the Lakes region. I've been eyeing this place since before we even moved here and was soooo excited to finally go! It's an old estate built back in 1914 that overlooks the Ossipee Mountain range and Lake Winnipesaukee. On the way up the mountain there's a hiking trail leading to several waterfalls which we happily took advantage of! It was a gorgeous Autumn day...perfect for hiking and leaf peeping. We had such a wonderful time!

As we drove past Lake Winnipesaukee we couldn't help but scream... "Dr. Marvin! Dr. Leo Marvin!!!!" Yes, we are dorks! :)

At the first Fall

So purrrrrrty!

You'll notice I cut my hair... chopped off about 3.5 inches. I figured I needed more change! :-P I might go a couple inches shorter next time. Baby steps, baby steps.
