Honeymoonin'

Joshua finished our Honeymoon video. Again to get the full effect pause the music on the right to hear the music on the video. We hope you enjoy! :)

Winter Wonderland

Hiya everyone. :) Hope 2011's treating you well! Well we are finally getting the true winter experience we'd been longing for! There have been 3 snow storms since Christmas and another one is just around the corner! Needlesstosay - LOTS of snow!! From what we've been told this has been one snowy New England winter! We're actually very happy to hear that as it hasn't been as bad as we'd thought it would be. Everyone built up this horrible winter so much in our heads that we def expected the worse! Snow and shoveling every day for 6 months?! Oh my! Well that's not the case at all so we're feeling quite relieved. The snow is sooooooooo beautiful! There have been a couple of days where it was heavy enough to stick to the trees, bushes, lightposts, etc. The effect of the town completely covered and glistening in white is truly breathtaking! I tried to get a couple of shots to show you but let me tell you these pictures do not do it justice! You'll just have to come visit and see for yourselves... :)

We got about 2 feet of snow from this storm. It snowed from the early morning until 7 at night. I got to experience my first "snow day" aka a paid day at home, snug on the couch, sippin' hot chocolate, watching movies! :)

Joshua had a fun time shoveling our cars out... :-P

The calm after the storm...

Holy icicles!

Driving in the snow has def been our biggest challenge. We're starting to get the feel of it though -slow is key!

This early winter morning New England was glistening in a way I'd never seen before! I wish I could have really captured the beauty of it... it was truly stunning!

Watch out for wild turkeys!

Crystal Lake is completely iced over

We attempted to build our 1st snowman but the snow was way to soft and powdery! Who knew there were so many different kinds of snow?! We'll learn in time I guess! So snow angels it was! :)

:)

My snow angel

Ok, so Joshua didn't really make an angel... it was more like a snow "hey!"

But I was proud of him for gettin' down and snowy! :-)

What are we going to do with our snowman nose? Why, be silly of course!

What up G?

Trekkin' through the snow!

BBQ anyone?

Snowdrops keep falling on my head...

The view from below

Frozen pickles anyone?

Rufus prefers it inside where it's warm and cozy!

Rock Stars! :) Lots of gamin' in the winter time... you know that makes someone happy!

So the new job is going well! I think I can really help get everyone organized plus my skills here are recognized and appreciated and that feels good! Not to mention the people are wicked cool! We even had one of the girls and her hubby over last night as our 1st NH guests. It was tons of fun! Funny that they live on our street - just 2 mins down the road! Small world... even smaller in NH!
Things are coming along. :-)

Our Wedding Day

Ok, be gentle. This is my very 1st video but also happens to be one very dear to my heart ♥! I promised this for the ones who couldn't be there on our special day and I'm so happy to say our wedding video is finally complete!! I hope it makes you feel like you were there... if even for just a few minutes. I worked really hard on it and hope you enjoy! ~

Note: Pause the blog music on the right to hear the music in the video.

Looking back on 2010...

We hope everyone had a Holly Jolly Christmas and a fun time bringing in the New Year! Since 2010 was such a big year for us I thought I'd take a min to look back and reflect on it. It was def a year of transition but oh man, what a fun and wild ride... :-)
~~2010~~

 January

This is me in January at my largest weight ever. Despite the beautiful background I was so embarrassed and ashamed I couldn't even bare to show anyone this picture. My New Years Resolution for 2010 was to lose weight... and that I did! Joshua and I joined a gym, ate right and lost 30lbs last year! Now I can look back at this picture and feel good about my weight loss.

Taking in a stunning SD sunset...

...next to Family and Mexican food the sunsets are one of the things I miss most about San Diego!

 February

In February I turned our living room into Cafe de Amour...

...teared up as my baby nephew turned 2...

...and reunited with one of my girlfriends that I hadn't seen in almost 14 years at a Bon Jovi Concert!

March

In March Joshua proposed...

...and we shared a moment of complete happiness.

We took our families out to see Cirque Du Soleil and spilled the big news. This is me and my new sister at Cirque. :)

April

In April a good friend took our Engagement photos at the Point Loma Lighthouse. It's such a gorgeous place and was on our list of possible ceremony locations.

We were at about a 15lb weight loss at this point. I was fitting into old jeans and feeling good!

In April my sister and I venue shopped. This is the venue I fell in love with but unfortunately they had nothing avail for June so I had to keep on keepin' on...

...and we shopped and we shopped until this view took the prize!

May

In May we met our new home...

...saw "the sign"...

...and dorked out on Lake Winnipesaukee!

June

In June I wore a white veil...

...we vowed to grow old together...

...as we became a Mr. and Mrs!

We soaked up the sun....

...rode cables in the jungles of the Caribbean...

...

...sipped margaritas til dawn...

...and kissed on the sand!

In June we said goodbye to family and friends as we said hello to the next chapter of our life.

July

In July we set forth on our new journey together....

... we felt small in the big country sky...

...and memerized by the deserts beauty...

...took the road less traveled...

...and surprised family in the South!

August

August was prob the most trying month of the year...

...we lived out of suitcases...

...learned about resourcefulness...

...and how to rely on only each other.

September

In September we marveled in one of Nature's greatest wonders....

...hiked a mountain...

...and snapped shots to show our loved ones back home.

We watched trees turn colors of the rainbow...

...and we're elated in the crunch of the leaves!

October

In October we got lost in the clouds...

...relaxed to the sounds of the Falls...

... and relished in nature.

November

In November we experienced "away" for the holidays...

...attempted fam pics...

...burnt pies...

...and enjoyed our families company in whatever form we could!

December

~That brings us to December~

In Dec we laughed... (what is wrong with this picture? :)

...Santa came to town...

...wore funny socks...

...hung ornaments on the tree...

...gave gifts...

...consumed eggnog...

...and counted our blessings.

We got Rufus his 1st sweater...

...survived our 1st blizzard...

...the shovel took on a whole new meaning...

... and danced in the snow.

We walked on water...

...encountered Mr. Jolly old St. Nick...

...and breathed in the fresh mountain air.

We walked hand in hand through a winter wonderland...

... and completely forgot about the cold!

In this box went our New Years resolutions. :)
Cheers to 2010 and best wishes for 2011 Everyone! We love and miss you. Can't wait to see you in the coming year!!!

xoxo
